CALL Consortium propelled the DiDRM project towards disability inclusive Disaster Risk Management
On February 4, 2025, Caritas and DCF had the privilege of hosting Ms. Kirsten Müller, Programme Coordinator for Bangladesh, at the Caritas Regional Office, Khulna. This impactful day brought together the DIDRM Project Progress Review, a Field Visit to Koyra sub-district, and an insightful CALL Project briefing — a collective stride toward promoting disability inclusive disaster risk management at Moharajpur and Sutarkhali Union of Koyra and Dacope sub-district in Khulna.
The DCF and Caritas Bangladesh project teams proudly shared key project updates, highlighting the progress made in amplifying the leadership and resilience of persons with disabilities. Ms. Kirsten’s visit to Koyra allowed her to witness firsthand the incredible work being done on the ground through the DIDRM Project, strengthening the bridge between planning and community impact.
Adding to the momentum, we were honored by the presence of Ms. Nasrin Jahan, Executive Director of DCF, who joined the meeting with Ms. Kirsten Müller and the project team to reinforce the shared mission of building an inclusive and sustainable future.
What’s next? The collaboration continues — stronger, more focused, and deeply rooted in community engagement and governance for DRM.
Let’s keep pushing boundaries for a world where no one is left behind.
