27 session of Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Geneva
The 27th UNCRPD session was held at Geneva, Switzerland from 22.08.2022 to 27.08.2022. Nasrin Jahan, Founder & Executive Director of Disabled Child Foundation (DCF) participated the session and represent the organization. 6 OPD’s representative including DCF from Bangladesh attended the 27th UNCRPD session. OPD’s from New Zealand, Japan, Korea also participated the session.
The OPD’s from Bangladesh shared important information of persons with disabilities with the CRPD committee prior to the constructive dialogues.
A high-level delegation of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was presented the meeting. Secretary of Ministry of Social Welfare, Minister of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and others attended the session.
